A computer classroom is filled with students and desktop computers, but nearly every monitor displays an extreme close-up of the same person’s face. The joke is the absurd visual uniformity, as if the entire class is studying or watching one giant face instead of doing computer work; it works as a reaction to an overwhelming, uncanny, or inescapable situation.
