The Rise of George Lucas
STAR THE RISE OF SKYWALKER WARS Rise. Written and Directed by GEORGE LUCAS
A parody of the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker title card shows a hooded figure kneeling before Emperor Palpatine, followed by the altered credit “Written and Directed by GEORGE LUCAS.” The joke implies that George Lucas somehow returned to make the film, usually as a sarcastic reaction to the movie’s plot, style, or disappointing reception.
