Food at Home Instead of McDonald's

Text on the meme

Me: mom can we stop at McDonald’s? Mom: we got food at home Food at home:

What it means

A child asks their mother to stop at McDonald’s, but she says they already have food at home. The home food is revealed as a disturbing grid of bizarre, grotesque fantasy creatures, making the familiar parental phrase absurd and unsettling. It is sent as a reaction to jokes about disappointing homemade food or unexpectedly horrifying alternatives.
