The Brits in Every Other History Book The Brits In Brit History Books

What it means

A friendly golden retriever sits beside a terrifying werewolf-like creature in a museum display. The joke contrasts how British people are portrayed in general world history books—as monstrous conquerors—with the more flattering portrayal in British history books. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to national historical whitewashing.
