When You Turn On Your Computer

Text on the meme

When you're just turned on your computer:

What it means

A cartoon character peeks anxiously from behind a curtain while Steam, Discord, and Skype logos appear nearby. The joke is that starting a computer immediately triggers a flood of gaming and communication apps, making the user feel overwhelmed or watched. It is used as a reaction to an overloaded startup screen or too many notifications.
