The Nine Lives of Tom
The nine lives of Tom
A nine-panel collage shows Tom from Tom and Jerry surviving bizarre accidents and injuries, including explosions, crushing, shooting, and being flattened. The joke exaggerates the cartoon cat’s legendary resilience and is used as a reaction to someone enduring repeated misfortune or narrowly escaping danger.
