Dishwasher at Wife's Funeral

Dishwasher: *not working* Me: *hits it repeatedly to get it to work* Everyone else at my wife’s funeral:

The meme shows a terrified-looking gray cartoon cat beside a white object, reacting dramatically. The joke compares repeatedly hitting a broken dishwasher with the exaggerated grief everyone else supposedly shows at the speaker’s wife’s funeral. It is used as an absurd reaction to someone behaving dramatically or emotionally in an inappropriate situation.
