You Were Alexa, I Was Despacito

Text on the meme

you were Alexa I was Despacito and you played me

What it means

Four atmospheric photos form a parody of a romantic lyric: one person was Alexa, the other was Despacito, and the speaker was “played” by them. The joke relies on the double meaning of being played as music and being emotionally deceived, referencing the song “Despacito” and Amazon’s Alexa assistant.
