Cats and Dogs in China

Text on the meme

Cats and dogs: *exist*; Europeans: cute Americans: cute Australians: cute China:

What it means

A meme contrasts how Europeans, Americans, and Australians supposedly react to cats and dogs as cute animals with a disturbing image associated with China. The joke relies on a crude stereotype that cats and dogs may be viewed as food, making the final reaction dark and absurd.
