Why You Wanna Talk About Us

Text on the meme

So can we talk? Talk about what? Us Why you wanna talk about the United States?

What it means

A fake text-message conversation shows one person asking to talk, only to reveal that they want to discuss the United States. The final speech bubble is dramatically warped, making the phrase feel ominous and absurd, so the meme is used for exaggerated political or awkward reactions.
