The End of Evangelion in the Woods
The End of Evangelion (1997)
A damaged toy robot or astronaut figure is tied to a wooden cross and lying among weeds and forest debris. The image humorously recreates the bleak crucifixion imagery associated with The End of Evangelion, using a discarded toy for absurd dramatic effect.
