I Do Not Relate to Patrick Bateman

Patrick Bateman sits at a desk with two cans of beer and a computer while claiming not to relate to Patrick Bateman because he is not a nice person. The joke is the obvious contradiction: the speaker is presented as Bateman himself, making the denial absurd and ironic. It is used as a reaction to humorously deny identifying with a problematic or morally questionable character.
