"This game is based on real history" Assassin's Creed Japan The History San Francisco 2021

What it means

A two-panel cartoon compares a dramatic samurai attack in fictional “Assassin's Creed Japan” with a similar-looking kick and fall in San Francisco in 2021. The joke mocks exaggerated claims that game scenes are based on real history by showing a mundane modern incident as the supposed historical source.
