SUGMA palindrome misunderstanding
I just really don't understand it... It's everywhere Mom backwards is mom. Taco cat backwards is taco cat... Well, those are actually called palindromes Wouldn't it be ca- And still was completely blindsided by this That makes you susceptible to this kind of stuff Sugma?
A man lying on a bed insists that words such as “mom” and “Taco cat” are the same backwards, while another man explains that they are palindromes. The conversation escalates into an absurd fake psychological diagnosis, ending with the classic “SUGMA” bait-and-switch punchline. The clip works as a reaction to someone confidently misunderstanding something obvious, with the deadpan delivery and brief sine-wave or tuning-fork-like sounds heightening the awkward absurdity.
I just really don't understand it. It's everywhere. Okay, give me an example. Mom backwards is mom, Taco Cat backwards is Taco Cat, and Deseronack backwards is Deseronack. Well those are actually called palindromes. It's fairly common. Also, Deseronack backwards isn't Deseronack. Wouldn't it be...can I rest? Can I rest when I'm on your chin? How could I have not seen this coming? I mean, I studied psychology for 30 years and still it's completely blindsided by this. You know, I was a therapist, a brother of a therapist. I see this quite often. and you might have a rare condition that makes you susceptible to this kind of stuff. How come I never heard of it? What's it called? It's called SUGMA. SUGMA?
