Gandalf and Saruman Insults
GANDALF THE WHITE GANDALF THE FOOL TWO CAN PLAY AT THAT GAME SARUMAN THE WHITE OR SHOULD I SAY WHAT SARUMAN
A video montage from The Lord of the Rings shows Gandalf and Saruman facing off in blue-lit scenes as captions turn their wizard titles into childish insults. Gandalf calls himself “Gandalf the White,” then mocks Saruman with increasingly silly variations; Saruman answers with “Two can play at that game” before the clip ends in an absurd white explosion or impact. The joke works as a reaction to playful name-calling and escalating banter, set to Howard Shore’s dramatic “Saruman the White,” whose grand orchestral mood makes the insults funnier.
Gandalf the White. Gandalf the Fool. Who can be of the game, Solomon the White? Or should I say, Solomon the Stupid. What? Solomon the Silly. Stop that! Solomon the Linkly. Or SOROMON THE STINKY! NO!
