How people with medical conditions see the world: autism

What it means

The clip begins with two cherries being pulled apart in slow motion, then cuts to frantic Hearts of Iron IV gameplay labeled “autism.” The joke portrays autism as an intensely focused, chaotic, and highly detailed way of experiencing the world, with Mareux’s darkwave song “The Perfect Girl” adding a dramatic, hypnotic mood that makes the sudden strategy-game montage funnier.
