Palestinian Children Throwing a Rock

Palestinian children after throwing a rock at the Israeli border wall

The clip shows blurry, dark footage beneath the caption “Palestinian children after throwing a rock at the Israeli border wall,” accompanied by John Williams’s grand, cinematic orchestral music from “The Spark.” The joke exaggerates the children’s reaction as if their small act were an epic, world-changing event, making the dramatic soundtrack heighten the absurdity. It is used as a dark political reaction meme about disproportionate triumph or bravado.
