When You’ve Checked Every App

When you already checked your usual five apps and don't know what else to do with your day

A solitary man wanders through city streets, rooftops, barren shorelines, and desert landscapes after checking his usual five apps and finding nothing else to do. The joke turns ordinary phone boredom into an existential, almost cinematic journey into the wilderness. Radiohead’s melancholic art-rock song “Motion Picture Soundtrack,” with its mournful organ-like sound, makes the trivial situation feel dramatically tragic and profound.
