Cat Island Has Been Claimed
cat island. narthballs
A narrated 61.8-second montage shows large groups of cats roaming a Japanese cat island, eating from bowls, relaxing on walls, being petted, licking treats, and rolling around on the pavement. The enthusiastic narration explains that the islands became cat territory because cats protected silk from mice, while the absurd final “narthballs” caption turns the wholesome cat documentary into a silly meme punchline. Light music and upbeat commentary make the cats’ mass takeover sound grand and celebratory.
There's a cat island in Japan and I think it's the greatest thing ever. There are six times many cats and there are humans in this place. I always thought it was just one island, but there's actually many islands. They're just filled with cats, man. They were able to take over these islands because many of them were used for silk production and the cats were killing the mice and keeping the silk protected. And now they've been rewarded by basically owning the island. There are no dogs allowed. We gotta keep our little guys safe. There is absolutely no dogs allowed on any of the islands. I think for obvious reasons, you know, they just don't get along. It's an army of cats, man. I mean, that's gotta keep everybody set. I think the best part is for generations, they've been fed by humans because we want to keep them there. So they love humans, man. They're not even scared. They're just chilling. Well, here we're all having a good time. This is what life's all about, you know? Two completely different species hanging out, eating some food. I mean, this is incredible. I hope you loved it, sir. Cat Island as much as I do ours. Thank you for watching. Have a good day.
