GitHub Copilot calculates her salary

Github copilot 😕 float calculateWomanSalary(float salary) { return salary * 0.9; }

GitHub Copilot is shown suggesting code that calculates a woman’s salary as 90% of the input salary. The joke criticizes gender pay gaps by portraying the AI assistant as casually reproducing sexist wage discrimination, while the dramatic sad violin music makes the supposedly clever coding suggestion feel absurdly tragic.
