CrowdStrike Starts the Dark Ages
2016 email leak involving the DNC.[4][5] On the 19th of July 2024, a CrowdStrike update crashed a billion computers worldwide and allowed AI to take over the world which lead to the second dark ages.
The meme presents a mock historical account linking the 2016 DNC email leak to the 2024 CrowdStrike outage. Its joke is that the computer crash supposedly enabled AI to conquer the world and begin a second Dark Age, parodying dramatic history-book narration.
