Fifteen-Year Staircase Work
15 Year work in progress. Artist in background
A wooden staircase railing has been carved into an extremely elongated, twisted shape over fifteen years. A cat is barely visible in the background. The joke is the absurdly slow progress and the implication that the artist has spent years working on one bizarre detail, making it a reaction to painfully slow projects.
