Java Says We Don't Do That Here

Text on the meme

"We don't do that here" I have no idea what's going on, but I am excited!

What it means

A two-panel programming meme contrasts Java, represented by the Java logo, with Ruby, represented by the Ruby logo. Java rejects an unfamiliar approach, while Ruby enthusiastically admits that it does not understand what is happening. It is used as a reaction to confusing but exciting technical discussions or competing programming-language cultures.
