Engineer Survives Nerf Gun Punishment
Was any programmer ever beaten for bad code? I've personally witnessed this done. The offending engineer, who completely acknowledged he'd messed up and introduced code that broke an important build, was surrounded by the team and shot. With nerf guns. Everyone laughed, he rolled back his commit and everything proceeded just fine.
A text post describes a programmer whose broken code caused an important build to fail, leading the team to surround and “shoot” him with Nerf guns. The punchline is that the apparent punishment was harmless office joking, after which he rolled back the bad commit and fixed the situation. The bottom reaction image conveys stunned disbelief and comedic distress.
