Places That Don’t Feel Real

Text on the meme

Places on earth that don’t feel real 🇧🇬 BULGARIA 🇧🇬 📍 Pernik Opera House, Bulgaria 📍 Varna Khalifa, Bulgaria 📍 The great wall of Pleven, Bulgaria 📍 Frankfurt, Bulgaria

What it means

A fast-paced montage presents surreal-looking landmarks and colorful scenes as supposedly impossible places in Bulgaria, including a flower-like object, the Sydney Opera House, Burj Khalifa, the Great Wall of China, and Frankfurt’s skyline. The joke is that famous landmarks from around the world are humorously relabeled as Bulgarian locations, making Bulgaria seem like a bizarre alternate reality. The dramatic song “Sail” by AWOLNATION and the intense, cinematic visuals amplify the absurdity and make the clip work as a reaction meme about places that look unreal.
