People Angry About Juliet Casting

absolutely love when some production casts an actress to play juliet and people get loudly angry at the decision. sort of poetic. are you saying you disapprove of the pairing? you think romeo should be with someone else? groundbreaking.

The image shows overlaid text joking about audiences angrily objecting when an actress is cast as Juliet. The punchline is that their outrage implies they are emotionally invested in Romeo and Juliet’s pairing, making the reaction itself “poetic” and “groundbreaking.” EN: The image shows overlaid text joking about audiences angrily objecting when an actress is cast as Juliet.
