Cat Catches You Recording Them

Text on the meme

pov: your cat catches you recording them

What it means

A gray tabby cat lies on a soft blanket under red and purple lighting, shifting its paws and staring directly at the camera with huge eyes. The joke is the cat’s adorable, almost emotionally betrayed expression after realizing it is being recorded, making it a relatable reaction to being caught watching or filming someone. Timothy R. Kelly’s “Growing Up” adds dreamy, melancholic music that makes the cat’s innocent look feel dramatically sentimental.
