Kitten Casting a Spell
Beaware He is casting a spell
A small orange-and-white kitten sits on a person’s arm and repeatedly raises both paws as if performing magic. The caption jokingly presents the kitten’s playful paw movements as spellcasting, making the clip a funny reaction to someone acting mysteriously or dramatically. Laura Shigihara’s upbeat, quirky video-game music, “Crazy Dave (In-Game),” enhances the absurd magical mood and makes the kitten’s gestures feel like a tiny performance.
