Scrolling Into Happier Memories

Text on the meme

When you scroll too far in the gallery and see the old pictures of where you were genuinely happy

What it means

A dark, close-up video shows a distressed, tearful bearded man staring toward the camera while the caption describes scrolling too far through your gallery and finding old photos from when you were genuinely happy. The slow, melancholic song “Cry” by Cigarettes After Sex intensifies the feeling of painful nostalgia, making the clip a reaction to regret, loneliness, or missing a happier past.
