Bringing a Knife to a Gun Fight
me bringing a knife to a gun fight guy with a gun (but visually it is represented by a knife)
A man in an orange shirt holds up a knife while facing another man who is also holding a knife. The captions joke that the opponent supposedly has a gun, but the image can only depict it as another knife, mocking a mismatched or unfair confrontation. It is used as a reaction to situations where someone is badly outmatched or unprepared.
