Malenia Meets the Rot Cat

You will witness true horror. Now, rot!

Malenia, Blade of Miquella emerges dramatically from a scarlet-rot battlefield and delivers ominous lines, but the clip abruptly cuts to a blank-faced black-and-white cat before returning to Malenia. The joke contrasts the terrifying boss presentation with the cat’s bizarre, deadpan presence, making the cat look like the true horror. The scene is accompanied by Yuka Kitamura’s dramatic boss music, “Malenia, Blade of Miquella,” whose intense orchestral mood heightens the absurd reveal.
