What it means

A foggy, graffiti-covered alley shows a shadowy figure walking through a bleak urban passage. The caption jokes that eastern Europeans’ ordinary trip to buy bread looks like a terrifying horror-game journey. It is used as an absurd reaction to gloomy or ominous everyday situations.
