Golfers Destroying Native Lands

Text on the meme

golfers destroying acres of native reservation lands to play the most boring sport in existence

What it means

A montage from Avatar shows blue Na’vi fleeing through a forest as explosions and destruction erupt around them, contrasted with a soldier in a vehicle. The caption sarcastically compares the devastation of Pandora to golfers destroying native reservation land to build an extremely boring sport. It is used as an exaggerated reaction to environmental destruction, colonialism, or golf-course development.
