Haskell Enthusiast Rejects Java
Haskellers: Noooo, I don't wnat to write Java. Why no one uses haskell, it is much superior language backed by academia research Also Haskellers: I do not understand why it is so important to blow up the community head count as to justify lowly marketing tricks and all such. At risk of sounding arrogant — as much as it pains me to see beautiful packages being abandoned, I do not see how an infusion of a relatively unskilled crowd can improve anything in this regard, and I would prefer a hauntingly beautiful academic abandonware over an umpteenth love infused, positive vibe emitting front end framework any day.
A crying Wojak is shown above text contrasting passionate Haskell enthusiasts with their elitist disdain for popularization. The joke is that Haskell proponents claim their language is superior because of academic research, yet complain when the community grows through beginner-friendly marketing and frameworks. It is shared as a reaction to programming-language snobbery and resistance to wider adoption.
