Next Feature Buried in Technical Debt

Next Feature Design Technical debt, uncommitted crap, and everything.

A two-panel cartoon shows a developer planning the next feature on the left, while on the right the feature is buried at the bottom of a deep pit beneath layers labeled “Technical debt, uncommitted crap, and everything.” The joke illustrates how unfinished work and accumulated technical debt can make a seemingly simple feature nearly impossible to reach. It is used as a reaction to messy codebases, delayed projects, and neglected cleanup.
