Text on the meme

INTELLIJ IDEA VIM

What it means

Luntik smiles and waves in the top panel labeled “INTELLIJ IDEA,” while a grotesque creature appears below with the label “VIM.” The joke contrasts the polished, friendly image of an IDE with Vim’s intimidating reputation, as if choosing Vim leads to something monstrous. It is used as a humorous reaction to debates about text editors and programming tools.
