Raised in a Cult

Notes: Sorry for vanishing, I did a little too much research on cults and coercive control for Damian’s arc, and then I realized ✨I✨ was raised in a cult, and THEN I ran away to a fishing town cabin on the other side of the country and had to start learning to be a person in the real world. I also forgot how to write. But I’m learning again, so I’m back now! Have some more. 💕

A text-based meme styled like a personal note apologizes for disappearing after researching cults and coercive control for a character named Damian. The writer humorously reveals that they were raised in a cult, fled to a remote fishing-town cabin, forgot how to function and write in the real world, and are now returning with more content. It is used as an absurd apology for going offline or taking a long creative hiatus.
