A four-panel fantasy loot comic shows React developers defeating an old Web 1.0 skeleton and acquiring server-side rendering as treasure. The joke is that server-side rendering is presented as a rare, valuable game item, rewarding developers with Medium followers and GitHub stars while they enthusiastically munch on it. It is used as a reaction to celebrate adopting SSR or jokingly frame an old web-development technique as a powerful upgrade.
