Open Source Developer Fortune 500 Company Star

What it means

A four-panel cartoon shows an open source developer drowning in the water while a Fortune 500 company reaches toward them, then a hand labeled “Star” pulls them under. The joke is that open source developers hope for corporate support, but companies may only star a project instead of providing meaningful help.
