People Before League of Legends
League of Legends / First release date October 27, 2009 People on October 26th, 2009:
A League of Legends release-date graphic is paired with a video of a serious-looking black-and-tan dog sitting on grass while a monarch butterfly gradually lands on and crawls across its face. The joke is that people were supposedly calm and innocent before League of Legends launched on October 27, 2009, with the dog’s increasingly awkward expression acting as the punchline. The clip is set to TOKLIFE — Omainti, whose electronic music gives the absurd reaction a dramatic, meme-like rhythm.
