Wishing the World Better

Me after throwing a coin in a fountain and wishing the world to be a better place

Thanos approaches a fountain in a landscaped garden, then moves out of frame to reveal the cascading water. The joke treats a grand wish to make the world better as if it immediately causes an absurdly dramatic appearance and disappearance; the triumphant classical orchestral music, Checho-Slovak State Philharmonic Orchestra & Stephen Gunzenhauser’s “Morning from Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, Op. 46,” gives the tiny act of throwing a coin an overly heroic, hopeful mood.
