Eight-Year-Old Imagines Catfish

Text on the meme

8 year old me imagining catfish

What it means

A strange hybrid creature with the body of a spotted fish and the head of a cat is held underwater. The joke is that a child imagines a catfish literally as a cat-fish, making the pun visually absurd. It is used as a reaction to childish misunderstandings, bizarre thoughts, or literal interpretations.
