Ulyanovsk Oblast or Wisconsin?
Ulyanovsk Oblast? Wisconsin, U.S.A
A gloomy birch forest and marshy field are captioned as both Ulyanovsk Oblast in Russia and Wisconsin, U.S.A. The joke is that the landscapes look nearly identical, poking fun at how hard it is to distinguish rural Russia from the American Midwest. It is used as a reaction to similarities between places or stereotypical regional scenery.
