Ribbentrop’s Little Dance

Ribbentrop distracting the polish with his little dance while the wehrmacht enters poland

A cat wearing a pink costume is held by a person and made to perform a small dance with its paws. The caption humorously compares the distracting dance to Joachim von Ribbentrop distracting the Polish while the Wehrmacht invades Poland, creating dark historical irony. The upbeat disco-pop song “Can’t Take My Eyes off You” by Boys Town Gang makes the cat’s awkward dancing feel theatrically cheerful, intensifying the absurdity of the joke.
