Patrick Learns About Schizophrenia
Patrick, have you ever heard of schizophrenia? No, what's that?
SpongeBob asks Patrick if he has ever heard of schizophrenia while Gary repeatedly appears and disappears around them. Patrick says he does not know what it is, making the visual gag imply that he is experiencing hallucinations. The clip uses the dreamy, odd mood of hovl’s “Jellyfishhunting” to heighten the surreal punchline and works as a reaction to someone missing something obvious or acting oblivious.
