Never Taking That Shortcut Again

I ain’t never taking no shortcut again

A video begins with the caption “I ain’t never taking no shortcut again” over a foggy field as a skull appears and the camera rushes toward a person. It cuts to a stunned young man, then compares the eerie shortcut scene with a Google Street View image, using colored boxes to reveal that the frightening shapes were ordinary landscape objects and a communications tower. The joke is that taking an unfamiliar shortcut looked like a terrifying supernatural experience, while the music heightens the dramatic reveal.
