American Truck Drivers Taking Flight

Québec American Truck Drivers

A truck drives through a snowy, wet highway interchange while its raised trailer appears to launch into the air, then the camera passes through a cloud of spray and debris beneath the overpass. The caption “American Truck Drivers” turns the dangerous-looking maneuver into an exaggerated stereotype, while Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird” makes the truck seem hilariously liberated and heroic. It works as a reaction to reckless driving, chaotic stunts, or someone dramatically escaping a situation.
