Congratulations on the Worst Dish

Congratulations On the worst dish in this competition so far

EN: On a cooking competition stage, the host first congratulates the contestants, then the camera shows the judges’ table before cutting to a close-up of Gordon Ramsay, who clarifies that he means the worst dish in the competition. The joke comes from the sharp contrast between the celebratory “congratulations” and the brutal criticism; the clip is used as a sarcastic reaction to an especially bad result. Dramatic TV music and the judging-show atmosphere make the fake celebration feel even more absurd.
