A man in a blue coat and military-style cap shakes hands with people in brown uniforms. The joke compares contributing to a popular open-source repository with serving the Soviet Union, exaggerating ordinary coding work into solemn ideological duty. It is used as a reaction to proudly or humorously describe making a contribution to a widely used project. EN: A man in a blue coat and military-style cap shakes hands with people in brown uniforms.
