Mutate and Return Child

MUTATE AND RETURN CHILD EVERYONE GENETIC ALGORITHM

A four-panel meme from How to Train Your Dragon shows Toothless, a white dragon, and Hiccup-like imagery paired with the captions “MUTATE AND RETURN CHILD,” “EVERYONE,” and “GENETIC ALGORITHM.” The joke compares ordinary reproduction with genetic algorithms, where mutation and selection produce a new generation. It is used as an absurd reaction to evolution, breeding, programming, or optimization producing unexpected results.
